This is what happens when Renault tries to sell an 18 years old car as a brand new model. Such a weird thing to look at, although I have to say the back isn’t too bad:

So they took a Renault Clio Campus.
Change the front bumper and grille
Change the rear lights (again) and put four creases in the tailgate to mould it into the new rear light cluster.

Yeah that seems to be pretty much what they did! Can’t have been a costly R&D project...

1998 safety though. I don’t think they’re too fussy in Brazil about that.

I would happily own this.

Eh, I’m not too sure about the squashed front. The rear though, that looks good!

Well, yeah there’s that. But I already drive a Clio 2, so that wouldn’t be any more risky for me!

They were still making the VW Type 2 Kombi till 2014.
One of the last produced and one of the very last shipments to the U.K.

They actually got rid of the rear bubble window to make it cheaper, also made the interior even worse:

The front end doesn’t look bad but I’m not sure about those taillights.

I’m thinking the opposite actually!
